Case studyZenWeb designed and built the Infinite Minds Academy website for a Petaling Jaya social enterprise that teaches digital and creative skills to special needs learners.
Written by Jian Tat Lee

Infinite Minds Academy began in 2008 as Young Animators, teaching animation to children and youths. It took its current name in 2018 and became a social enterprise in 2023. The academy teaches learners with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, hearing impairments and learning difficulties, at its centre in Petaling Jaya.
Its programmes run from early learning for young children to advanced creative courses for students aged 17 and above. Older learners can specialise in 2D animation, art and design or 3D media. The academy also runs Beamworks, an in-house creative studio that offers internships to neurodiverse talent.
They need to know which programme fits their child's age and stage. The Courses page sorts every programme by age group, so they can find the right level quickly.
Neurodiverse learners who want a career path can read about Beamworks on the Internship page. An apply button takes them straight to the next step.
Organisations want to see the academy's track record before they collaborate. The News page gathers press coverage, student stories and project news in one place.

The home page opens on a photo of students working on 3D software, with an Enquire Now button. It then explains who the academy supports and previews three programme groups: early learning, vocational and academics.

The Courses page uses tabs for each stage, from Early Learning for ages 2 to 12 up to Advanced Learning for ages 17 and above. Part-time Creative Classroom subjects, one-to-one coaching and the after-school programme each have their own tab too.

The Internship page explains Beamworks, the academy's creative studio for neurodiverse talent. It describes the remote, supportive way the studio works and shows a gallery of student work.

The News page has two parts. Stories carries articles about students and inclusive education, while the news section lists media coverage and project milestones by date.

Parents often look up programmes on a phone. On mobile, the headline and Enquire Now button stay on the first screen. The course tabs stack, so each age group opens with one tap.

Families of special needs learners usually ask two things first: is there a programme for my child's level, and where can it lead? The site answers the first with age-based tabs and the second with the internship pathway into Beamworks. Student stories and press coverage give partners and parents the context they need before they enquire.
