Case studyZenWeb designed and built the REA Technologies website, an English site for a Kuala Lumpur renewable energy company that funds and engineers solar and battery projects.
Written by Jian Tat Lee

REA Technologies is a renewable energy company in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, working under the tagline Liberating Energy. It acts as both investor and engineering partner. It funds and develops utility-scale solar farms and installs solar for industry under power purchase agreements. It also provides battery energy storage for sites that need power around the clock.
Under its industrial PPA model, REA funds and owns the solar system while the client pays only for the energy it uses. Its engineers also design rooftop and land-based systems as an EPC contractor. The site shows case studies, including a rooftop system for a pharmaceutical plant and an off-grid poultry farm.
They want cleaner power without spending capital on equipment. The Solutions page explains the PPA model, so they understand who pays for the system and who owns it.
Owners of idle land want to know whether it can host a solar farm. The utility-scale section explains how REA funds a project from permits to grid connection.
Partners want to see real projects and how REA works. The Project Showcase gives full case studies, and the home page shows its technology, local and investment partners.

The home page opens with a full-width shot of solar panels and a bold headline on renewable energy. It explains the company's three ideas, liberating capital, the grid and potential, then shows partner logos and an enquiry form.

The Solutions page covers utility-scale solar, industrial PPAs, battery storage and solar EPC design, each with three short points. A closing table pairs a common problem, such as high utility costs or an unstable grid, with the matching solution.

The Project Showcase lists REA's case studies as cards. Clicking one opens the full write-up, with the objective, the technical solution and how the system runs.

On a phone, the solar hero and the three model blocks stack into a single scroll. Case study cards sit one per row and open in a pop-up.

REA's offer is a financing model as much as a technology. Factory owners need to understand who pays, who owns the system and what they pay for before they talk to anyone. Explaining each solution in short blocks, then backing it with detailed case studies, gives decision-makers what they need to take the idea further inside their company.
